The IRIS package is a modern, integrated system designed to aid the activity of small, medium-sized as well as large health care centers. The system has been created in cooperation with physicians of different specialties and the personnel of numerous medical centers. It is continually being developed and perfected.
The main function of the IRIS package is to improve the quality and standard of services provided by health care centers. Our goal is for the software to be a tool facilitating the operations of a medical center due to its simplicity of use and innovative solutions.
The IRIS package facilitates the work of physicians and medical personnel, ensures the patients with comfortable medical care and efficient organization. For every center willing to operate smoothly, the IRIS package as a MEDICAL product is an irreplaceable IT aid.
The vast number of specialist procedures in medical centers creates a need to introduce extensive filing, statistical and reporting documentation. Implementing the IRIS package allows for automatizing these processes. The IRIS package is a perfect solution aiding general medical center's operations, the organization, patient rotation management, medical data registration, financial and transaction documentation. It can also be used as an irreplaceable statistical tool, allowing the user to select and collate data from a certain field of the medical unit's activity.
IRIS package structure
Thanks to its module structure the software is a perfect solution facilitating the operations of of smaller units (single physician's consulting-rooms and out-patient clinics), as well as large medical centers providing services of many specialties. Dividing the IRIS package into programs and modules allows for its precise and functional adjustment to our customers' individual needs.
The IRIS pack consists of the following programs:
Depending on their needs, the user can choose a suitable configuration of the IRIS package.
- IRIS Schedule, IRIS Specialization and IRIS Assistant programs can work independently or combined freely with the others.
- IRIS Administration can work combined with IRIS Schedule, IRIS Specialization i IRIS Assistant.
- IRIS Statistics can work combined with IRIS Specialization and/or IRIS Assistant.
The IRIS package is not limited as far as the number of stands and users working in the system is concerned and it is perfectly suitable for operating in a network.
IRIS Specialization
IRIS Specialization is a program for physicians' offices and medical centers of different specializations. It is intended for keeping records of the patients' visits together with their examination results. It enables the user to document the patient's medical history, diagnoses and recommendations, as well as printing out prescriptions and referral forms. It also allows to prepare visit reports - printouts containing select medical data (including photos and video sequence stills) with description and save chosen data on CDs/DVDs.
Thanks to additional modules the functionality of the program may be supplemented with a.o.: recording and analysing photos and video sequences (e.g. from a videocolposcope, ultrasonograph, microscope, endoscope), recording and analysing voice, supporting select medical devices.
IRIS Assistant
Designed to aid the personnel preparing patients for a medical procedure or visit, or assisting at a specialist examination. Its main functions are patient files and appointments administration. The program enables the user to define in detail the "assistant's" authorization to fill out specific forms, or view given windows or tabs.
IRIS Schedule
The program is designed for booking specific appointments at an indicated time, with chosen doctors and in specific consulting-rooms. It facilitates the work of employees scheduling patients' visits, watch fixed dates and physicians' working hours. It also allows for entering patient data.
Characteristics:
- a clear appointment schedule, adjustable appointment schedule view (for specific consulting-rooms, physicians, appointment types),
- viewing and updating patient records, e.g. including the information about the given patient's attending physician,
- unscheduled appointment time slots search,
- keeping record of the collected payment,
- the possibility to insert information about referral forms issued,
- printouts - patients list before a visit, after a visit(so called "daily books"), appointment summary for a specific period of time, consulting-room or physician
IRIS Administration
This program enables generating basic administrative summaries.
Characteristics:
- generating expectant patients lists,
- viewing and updating patient records,
- defining service pricing,
- invoice summary, daily revenue,
- physicians' settlement, provided services settlement, summary of examinations carried out in a given period of time (medical center books),
- prescription summary, sick notes and patient referral forms register.
IRIS Statistics
The program enables searching and viewing examination results (carried out in IRIS Specialization or IRIS Assistant) that meet chosen criteria. It also fosters making simple statistical calculations on examination results as well as exporting data to a format that allows for their further processing in dedicated programs (e.g. MS Excel - CSV format).
Characteristics:
- search criteria: sex, age, address, job, diagnoses, medical procedures, selected examination parameter values (e.g. according to applied medical procedures or disease diagnosis),
- generating reports for appointments meeting the above criteria,,
- e-mailing reports,
- saving reports on any data storage device,
- statistical calculations - average standard deviation, histogram,
- exporting numerical data to a CSV format.
Further development of the IRIS package
The IRIS package is a dynamically developing system. Due to the continuously changing legal situation in health care it is necessary to regularly introduce changes in our software. Thanks to the inbuilt automatic update systems you can use the program conveniently and uninterruptedly, as it will download the necessary updates automatically and in time.
Due to constant cooperation with our users we are able to introduce refinements as far as the working system optimization is concerned. One of our priorities is for the IRIS package not only to follow the changes in the medical services market, but also the changes in the area of IT and technology.
